Turkey Trot

“It was one of the best experiences of my life!” a fifth grader told The Bobcats Meow after running the GBS Turkey Trot. On November 19th GBS held their annual Turkey Trot. People watch kids for each grade run around the block. Hundreds of kids run and only 25 kids came in the finish line to win for their grade. Each grade had a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winner. Here are the winners.

First place gets a turkey and a shirt. Second place you get a box of cookies. And third place gets a lolly pop.
Timothy Hollingsworth said, “It was so exhausting and tiring. I feel like I am going to die right now.” This is a great experience. Next year there will be more winners and more fun!
